WorldWide Printing Solutions extend their Web-to-print offering into New Marketing Services with XMPie and Fuji Xerox technology

XMPie is pleased to announce that Worldwide Printing Solutions of Australia is leveraging XMPie technology to drive its new Web-to-print portal.  The portal is powered by XMPie PersonalEffect StoreFlow and will offer online catalogues using customer templates as well as Direct Marketing campaigns that include Personalised Print, Email and SMS.

The StoreFlow solution from XMPie is the best-in-class, all-in-one Web-to-Print software platform for creating and managing online stores and marketing portals.  With the built-in prepress automation of Xerox Free Flow Core, PersonalEffect StoreFlow automates order acquisition and implements efficient workflow processes without sacrificing key functionality, allowing service providers to open their shops to B2B or B2C visitors – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Rob Dallimore, Group Managing Director for Worldwide Printing Solutions, recalls the Group’s deep history with online services, “Nearly 20 years ago we led the franchise market with the industry’s first online ordering system which we called “OPM” (online print management), but as time went by, others caught up, so three years ago we embarked on a journey to become the most innovative again.  After extensive research we found our product and partner in XMPie. It was clearly the most capable software available and could be fully integrated into our other systems due to its open architecture. Another big plus was that it is fully backed and supported by Fuji Xerox, the Worldwide group’s largest current equipment supplier.  This will enable us to create a unique offering in the marketplace due to our ability to not only manage print ordering for our clients, but to also offer them an entire suite of products and services all through the one portal. For the centres themselves it also means they have a system they can use for their own marketing and promotions by utilising the tools they will offer customers themselves such as email and direct marketing print campaigns.”

Adam Fittler, National Sales Manager for Fuji Xerox worked closely with Worldwide Printing Solutions over the three years to ensure the product development was on track and built to their needs. “The new online system for Worldwide Printing Solutions allows for a wider range of business to be done over the net, making it easier for Worldwide Printing Solutions customers to fulfil their marketing needs, not just print alone.”

The new system saves franchisee time by being completely integrated into their existing MIS system, “Quote and Print”. Fuji Xerox and Quote and Print worked together to connect the two systems and eliminate the double order entry requirements that exist with many other systems. Now any order placed on-line is automatically created in the MIS system without human interaction.

Rob Dallimore wanted all franchisees of Worldwide to have the very best system available from several perspectives, “XMPie centres the creation of content around the Adobe suite of products such as InDesign, which are the tools that all of our centre owners use.  Having these skills already in-store meant the centres could use existing tools and expertise to take their businesses into the future. Today the system will mostly drive print and promotional products but with the ability to offer web pages, email content and SMS services the system really offers the ability to cater for the future, which was a major objective for us with this investment.  Our partners, XMPie and Fuji Xerox, have provided us with the tools and support programs to turn this idea into a reality and they have been excellent to work with.  Considering the many national training workshops and system customisations, their support and expertise has been and will be significant in our ongoing success”
