2010 Users Group Conference
The 2010 XMPie Users Group Conference is scheduled for September 12-15, at The Peabody Orlando in Orlando, Florida. We are planning an informative and exciting event and we hope you decide to join us.
Schedule of Events
The conference begins with in-depth tutorials the afternoon of Sunday, September 12 which continue through mid-day on Monday, September 13. Please note: there is an additional registration fee for attendance at the tutorials.
Design Track Tutorial
In this deep-dive tutorial session, we will teach you how to create a multi-media, variable data campaign from static InDesign documents and HTML files. Learn the ins and outs of the newly release XMPie desktop tools (uDirect/uCreate and uCreate XM 5.0) as we build variable templates to drive the print portion and web component of a multi-touch campaign. Additionally, uImage will also be used to incorporate personalized imagery into the final campaign.
Programming Track Tutorial
Emphasizing the newly released PersonalEffect 5.0 variable data platform, this deep-dive tutorial session will walk you through all the steps required to quickly get variable templates on the server for producing print, sending email and generating personalized URLs to drive a multi-touch, cross-media campaign. Our advanced Application Programming Interface (API) will also be covered to discuss how these can be leveraged to enhance your productivity and aid in bringing up web-to-print portals for e-commerce.
General sessions, receptions, breakout tracks for Marketing, Design, and Programming, and the business meeting and elections will begin the afternoon of September 13 and continue through Wednesday, September 15.
