How is it already April! We’ve been busy since the beginning of the year and we want to use this blog post to give you a quick summary of all our product updates, new features and how you can get them!
Adobe CC 2018 Support
XMPie software is now compatible with Adobe’s latest release Creative Cloud 2018. We’re pretty excited to be able to finally add rounded borders around highlighted paragraphs of variable text with a document! Find out how to update your software here.
GDPR Compliance
As you know, the May 2018 GDPR deadline is looming fast. Our GDPR updates are now available and will provide you with the tools, mechanisms, and guidelines to comply with the various GDPR requirements.
Highlights include:
New Dashboard Interface for GDPR
The latest version of PersonalEffect now includes an interface for GDPR. By default, new data sources that are added to uProduce will be marked as non-permanent, which means that they will be deleted from the system 30 days after their creation date to comply with GDPR regulations. You can also set specific data sources as permanent to prevent their deletion.
Automatically delete or confirm Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
StoreFlow now includes a critical GDPR compliant feature to automatically delete or confirm personal identifiable information (PII) – the information that can be used to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context.

PersonalEffect StoreFlow
In addition to the GDPR Compliance described above, new features include:
New Update Mechanism
With this new release of StoreFlow, all new features will be delivered automatically via the new update mechanism. You can then easily deploy the new features with a simple click of a button without an additional installer.
Cross Media Proof via Email
While a customer is previewing an email touchpoint within a campaign on a store, it is now possible to both preview it in a browser or send a proof to an email address.

Email Service
The XMPie Email Service (XES), is our subscription-based platform designed to easily help you deliver highly personalized marketing emails, via batch or triggered methods.
Lightning Fast Email Delivery
We’ve bumped up throughput for XES – matching and in some cases surpassing other enterprise email service providers. Batch production processing is now five times faster while delivery of triggered emails is 60 times faster. Triggered emails, sent on-demand now hit the recipient’s inbox within seconds!

Circle
Duplicate Project Function
Have you ever created a template that you’ve wanted to re-use for a different customer or campaign? Well now you can with this new feature in Circle. The ‘duplicate project’ function allows you to copy all the elements of a campaign as well as the Circle diagram to a new project. You can even copy to a different uProduce account (on the same server) making it easy to re-use a successful project for a different customer.
Revamped Online Email Editor
We now have a completely revamped email editor! The new email editor includes a responsive base layout and responsive building blocks making it incredibly easy for you to create responsive emails. The preview feature offers a convenient mobile simulation in addition to the desktop view and you can preview live customer examples. Using the editor, all types of ADORs can now be inserted into an email. Some ADOR types can simply be dragged onto the design view and other ADORs such as table, style, and visibility can be directly inserted via the ‘code view’. Image sizing and resizing can be done via the interface.
Creating highly personalized emails within Circle, either from scratch or from customer’s HTML just got a whole lot easier!
