De Budelse saw an opportunity to expand their offerings and capitalize on the recent growth of the digital packaging industry by creating FotoChoco.nl – a website that enabled their customers to send personalized boxes of chocolate as gifts. XMPie variable data software allows the customer to personalize the box with their own text and photos, and the boxes are printed on a Xerox® iGen4® Digital Press with FreeFlow® Print Server. In the Christmas season alone, FotoChoco.nl sold over 11,000 personalized chocolate boxes, netting $100,000.
