XMPie’s New Architecture for Digital Media Personalization Breaks New Ground in Multichannel Communications

PRESS RELEASE

New York, NY., September. 8, 2015 – XMPie, a Xerox (NYSE: XRX) Company, debuts PersonalEffect 8.0, introducing a novel breakthrough approach for integrating Digital Media in Cross Media communications.  Marketers now have the freedom to fully leverage state-of-the-art Web, email, and mobile media technologies while still ensuring that all personalized touch-points in the communications stream – Print and Digital – are synchronized perfectly.  With PE 8.0, marketers are able to uniquely deliver on the promise of modern, integrated and consistent brand experiences, across all channels, without having to tradeoff media capabilities, presentation or design.

This innovation that PE 8.0 introduces is highly valuable due to two major trends in multichannel individualized communications. On the one hand, Print is recognized as a powerful ingredient in multichannel campaigns, especially because it is a tangible, memorable medium, and often a better “dialogue opener” than online channels such as email or banner ads. On the other hand, according to CMO Insights, the marketing spend for online digital media continues to grow, and by 2019 will account for more than 75% of the marketing budget.  Hence, a Cross Media solution that fully embraces cutting-edge Digital communications, and enables Print as an integral component in the mix, is crucial for delivering highly effective personalized marketing.

“XMPie’s latest generation of PersonalEffect can be a real game-changer.  I already have a lot of creative ideas in my head around how to incorporate some awesome web and mobile ideas” Paul J. DeSantis, CIO, ANRO

PersonalEffect 8.0 updates include:

  • New architecture for handling digital media personalization: Developers can now work in their preferred development environment and technology, such as AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 or other platform to create responsive design Web content, mobile-friendly landing sites, single-page applications and more.
  • New level of integration: The Circle GUI now optionally powers the PersonalEffect uProduce dashboard, resulting in a sleek and unified user experience that offers a clear operational view for managing touch points and deploying and monitoring the entire multichannel campaign.

PersonalEffect 8.0 brings a real breakthrough in multichannel marketing technology,” said Ayelet Szabo-Melamed, product marketing manager, XMPie, A Xerox Company. “The software enables ultramodern design and development for online digital media content to coexist synergistically and consistently with state-of-the-art design and development for print media.”
