Integration Series: Unveiling ZIG Insure Demo

XMPie Demo highlights its powerful integration capabilities for ultimate versatility in document generation.

Like in other areas, APIs are game changers in the world of personalization. They empower businesses to forge deeper audience connections, enhance engagement and drive innovation.

In this article, we shine a light on a revamped campaign demonstration that showcases XMPie’s extensive capabilities to use APIs to connect with a variety of external technologies and set a new benchmark for tailored engagement.

The campaign demonstrates the versatility of on-demand document generation, whether for print or email delivery. This approach represents a forward-thinking strategy to enhance environmental sustainability and the design has been optimized for Inkjet Presses, which have the capability to print on a diverse range of substrates.

ZIG Insure: Campaign Components

The campaign facilitates the sale of a travel insurance policy from inception to completion. It delivers a personalized and customized travel handbook on-demand to new customers and culminates with a streamlined digital signature process to finalize the sale.

The campaign is powered by XMPie Circle, a dynamic marketing automation platform for delivering omnichannel customer experiences. It is enhanced by APIs connected to various external third-party technologies.

Campaign Launch: Integrated Facebook Chatbot

To kick off the campaign, we are using a single chatbot that can be accessed in two ways.

The first is directly on the ZIG Insure Facebook Page.  We created our chatbot with Manychat, and integrated it into the Facebook platform to communicate with our prospects.  When a prospect types the trigger word ‘Quote’ in the message box on Facebook, ManyChat recognizes this trigger and starts to run the automation and control the conversation.

The same setup applies to Facebook’s Messenger App, where customers can also choose to launch our chatbot by messaging the ZIG Insure Page with the word ‘Quote’.

During the conversation, ManyChat collects data as the chatbot converses with the prospect. It asks about several details to tailor the insurance policy for the customer, starting with the desired travel destination.

An alternative approach is to bypass the Facebook/ManyChat stage and send prospects a link to the campaign via email, SMS, or a QR code on a poster. By accessing the link directly, prospects can enter their data directly into Circle to begin the process.

Our campaign is strategically crafted to include various entry points, as providing multiple points of entry is essential to maximizing participant engagement.

Streamlining Data Flow: Zapier Integration

To facilitate recipient insertion and optimize data flow from the Facebook interface into the campaign, we used Zapier to integrate the Manychat Chatbot with XMPie Circle. No coding or developer intervention was required to set this up and the integration ensures that customers transition smoothly from Facebook into the campaign ecosystem.

Generating Personalized PDFs-On-Demand: Personalia and XMPie Circle

In this campaign, we are generating two PDFs for the customer to review.

The first is generated by XMPie’s new personalization service Personalia (currently in Beta. It uses the initial data that the prospect has supplied to generate a price comparison document. This allows the prospect to consider options such as whether they want Premium or Basic cover. At this point, the customer data hasn’t yet been added to the customer journey; it is purely being used to provide information to help the prospect with their decision-making. Personalia’s service-based model uses XMPie-hosted technology to generate PDFs on demand, allowing for dynamic adjustments based on real-time data, and full ownership of an XMPie platform license is not required.

The second PDF is generated by XMPie Circle itself once the customer has decided to purchase a ZIG Insure policy. This marks the campaign’s progression into an advanced stage of personalization, tailoring the journey to align seamlessly with each customer’s unique circumstances.

Digital Sign: Adobe Signature

Once the cover type has been chosen, ManyChat has gathered all required recipient information and received a positive answer to the question, ‘Are you happy to proceed?’ This triggers Zapier to push the data directly into XMPie Circle, creating a recipient in the database and generating a personalized URL.

This URL is presented by Manychat. On clicking the link, the next stage is triggered: XMPie generates the final PDF, and the customer is taken into a Circle Campaign to complete the onboarding process by providing a digital signature directly on the policy document. This capability is powered by an integration with Adobe Sign, which collects signatures electronically, eliminating the need for physical paperwork.

Once signed, the campaign is updated with the signed document and the user can proceed.

Triggered Personalized Emails:

Once the insurance policy is signed, the customer reaches the confirmation page. This event triggers the campaign to send out a series of personalized emails related to the policy. This proactive approach reinforces engagement and ensures that users stay informed over time.

An onboarding campaign can easily have multiple endpoints. In this case, in addition to the transactional digital signature element, the triggered email also offers direct value to the customer by directing them to download a personalized travel guide to help them on their trip.

Capturing Leads: Power Automate

To enable insurance agents to efficiently monitor and respond to new customers behind the scenes, our campaign integrates seamlessly with both Microsoft’s Power Automate and Teams. There are almost unlimited ways for us to optimize the campaign at one of its most important stages– the point of sale in order to foster a more long-term relationship to increase customer lifetime values. We can notify the onboarding team that a new customer has signed up, we can push the signed PDF into a document archive, and push the customer’s details into a CRM such as Salesforce so we have a 360 degree of the customer. We can even take the customer’s details and add them to another XMPie-powered campaign to start another campaign, such as an upselling journey.

Measuring Results: Circle Analytics

Throughout the entire campaign, XMPie leverages its Circle Analytics feature to transform raw ZIG Insure campaign data into actionable intelligence. These page tracking, email monitoring, link analysis, and other tools empower insurance agents and marketers to make informed decisions, refine their approach as necessary, and ultimately achieve campaign success.
